Manyuchi ranks 4th

VICTORY over Russia’s Dmitry Mikhaylenko has powered Zimbabwean-born boxer Charles Manyuchi into the top four on the World Boxing Council (WBC) global rankings in the welterweight category.
According to the 2016 rankings posted on the WBC website yesterday, Manyuchi, who two weeks ago beat Mikhaylenko to become the new silver world champion, is now fourth on the welterweight rankings.
British fighter Amir Khan, who last month tried to upgrade to middleweight category but lost to champion Canelo Alvarez of Mexico, is the highest ranked WBC welterweight boxer.
Lamont Peterson and Andre Berto both from United Sates of America are ranked second and third, respectively. Mikhaylenkoi is 14th.
