Macky II dates Kabwe’s Clayton

MACKY II is today expected in Kabwe for his first music show this year and he has promised to put up a unique and memorable performance.
This will be his second performance in Central Province, having performed during the 2016 Zambia Correctional Service annual ball held at the Mulungushi University main campus in Kapiri Mposhi on January 20 into January 21.
There, he was not alone as he shared the same stage with Drimz, his young brother Chef 187 and gospel sensation Nathan Nyirenda.
But his first show in Kabwe at a family fare organised by CESAM Entertainment will be a different performance.
The people who will attend the event will be treated to new songs such as Forgive Them and Favour.
“Yes, it will be my first show in Kabwe this year,” Marky II confirmed. “My shows are always unique and people in Kabwe should expect new music and a very interactive show.”
CESAM Entertainment promoter Michael Mwaba told the Weekend Mail that the former Big Brother Housemate was expected in Kabwe on February 11 to perform at the Valentine’s bash but the show was postponed due to some technical glitches.
The technical glitches are all in the past because Macky II is looking forward to be in Kabwe at Claytone where he is expected to be a crowed puller.
“We wanted Macky II as he is a crowd puller each time he performs in Kabwe,” Mwaba said in an interview.
“He has always been performing in Kabwe at night, but we want him to perform during the day so that parents can come with their children to watch him.”
CESAM Entertainment wants to promote upcoming musicians in Kabwe and one way of doing this is to accord them an opportunity to perform on the same stage with renowned artists.
Young Sam and Big Sicho, Jay Mwana and DJ Kauzy are among the local and upcoming artists who will first entertain the gathering before giving way to Macky II, the guest artist.
Mwaba said Kabwe has a lot of talented young artists who are just in the background and that CESAM Entertainment is determined to expose them.
