Lungu welcomes UPND

LUNGU

CHOMBA MUSIKA, Lusaka
PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu is encouraged that the space of disagreement over the national dialogue process is now narrowing following the United Party for National Development’s (UPND) agreement that the process be locally driven. The head of State said UPND, the main opposition political party which has been against a locally-driven dialogue process, is now in agreement that the Church should be at the centre of all efforts aimed at consensus building and the envisaged broad national dialogue.
He said the new development is inspiring because the UPND has all along been opposed to any locally driven process, especially where the Zambia Centre for Inter-party Dialogue (ZCID) is involved.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
