MINISTRIES of General and Higher Education should amend the school curriculum to include information that the First World War (WWI) ended in Zambia, President Edgar Lungu has directed.
President Lungu has also urged the global community to acknowledge the truth that the last bullet of WWI was fired in Zambia.
“I also direct the ministers of General and Higher Education to consider reviewing the curriculum regarding events of the First World War,” he said.
The Head of State was speaking here yesterday during the commemoration of the end of WWI at the cenotaph. The First World War started in 1914 and ended in 1918 http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
