PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu says Government is using information and communications technology (ICT) to do business to minimise face-to-face interaction between service providers and the public as a way of curbing corruption.Addressing the nation on the national broadcaster last evening on the occasion of Africa Freedom Day, Mr Lungu said the measure of doing business using ICTs is going a long way in promoting transparency and ceiling corruption loopholes.
“Online platforms have been particularly successful in areas of tax and non-tax collection, public procurement, as well as marketing of goods and services, to mention just a few,” he said.
