THE letter by Elemiya Phiri of Lusaka on school pupils dress (ZDM 09/08/17) was very educative. The way most of our pupils dress especially girls leave much to be desired. School girls would rather have a short and tight skirt instead of a loose one.
Boys have also joined by adjusting trousers into tight ones and one wonders what ‘lubricant’ they use when taking them off.
It is high time, like Mr Phiri put; it, that some teachers and schools especially private who are reluctant to enforce a decent dress code for reasons best known to themselves did something.
