‘Leaders should lead through prayer’

ZAMBIANS should pray for politicians to preach unity because when trouble strikes, everyone suffers, President Edgar Lungu has said.
He said Zambia needs continued peace and stability, and that this can be achieved through prayer which, unfortunately, some people do not believe in.
“We need to pray to continue enjoying the peace that this country has had over the years. I know some people do not believe that there is a God who answers prayers, but those of us who are committed to prayer should continue praying because when trouble strikes, we all suffer,” he said.
President Lungu said this during a church service at St Joseph Catholic Church in Mangango Mission.
