Kasanka Park needs hospitality infrastructure

KASANKA National Park needs hospitality infrastructure and restocking with different wildlife species to attract more tourists, an official has said.

Kasanka wildlife officer David Mubiana, who mans the park said the management should seriously consider investing into hospitality facilities within the area to increase the influx of tourists.

Mr Mubiana said in an interview that putting up hospitality infrastructure will not only attract more tourists but also create job opportunities for the locals.
He said Kasanka National Park, which was home to the famous annual bat migration spectacle, should be boosted in terms of the facilities for visitors as it has potential to rake in revenue for the Government.
