Kambole enters record books

Kitwe, Ndola
THE Confederation of African Football (CAF) has recorded Zesco United striker Lazarus Kambole’s hat–trick against Mbabane Swallows as the fastest in the history of the Champions League.
It is a feat in continental club football – he has beaten the likes of Neymar and Ronaldo.
Neymar netted a hat-trick in 14 minutes when Barcelona gave Scottish side Celtic a 6-1 drubbing in 2013 while Ronaldo hit three in 11 minutes either side of half-time as Real Madrid beat Swedish side Malmo in 2015.
Before Kambole, the record was held by Bafetimbi Gomis, who scored four in a stunning 7-1 win for Lyon against Dinamo Zagreb in 2011. The hat-trick was recorded within eight minutes.
But on Saturday, Kambole scored his hat – trick in five minutes as Zesco edged Swallows 3 – 0 in a CAF Champions League Group D match in Manzini, eSwatini
