J.O.B. named Yako Couture brand ambassador, releases Mixtape

ZAMBIAN music producer, rapper and songwriter, J.O.B., (Job Mwanamwale), is the new Yako Couture brand ambassador, BnB management has announced.
The rapper, who shot to fame with his debut single titled Going Higher, which he released in 2010, is also currently working on releasing his debut album aptly titled Reborn.
At an early age, the Nichikali rapper fell in love with music later rapped his way to Blazer recording studio in 2006.
In the same year, J.O.B. hit the charts with an impressive effort titled I am a G, which featured Bobby East, while his contribution to Alfa Romeo’s Soldier song, was a massive booster.
The rapper later joined Blazer Studios in 2008, under the mentorship of Ben Blazer (2013/2014 Zambia Music Award “Producer of the year”).
In 2011, with numerous shows lined-up across the country, J.O.B. went to storm the musical stages with some highly acclaimed songs as Leya which featured CQ “Muzukulu” as well as Punkutupwah.
But it was, probably, his collaborations with Karasa on the song Do Me that was to establish the rapper as one of the most happening acts in recent times.
Today, J.O.B, who has since staged successful shows across Zambia and southern Africa, recently released the critically acclaimed single, Help me Lord, which features Lizwe.
Currently managed by Ongani Banda of BnB Music management, J.O.B. has continued to pioneer rap/hip-hop influenced Zambian music with his unique sound and creativity.
With personal issues arising from his previous relationship, the father of one went on to release other defining songs such as Can’t Touch Me and Forbidden Things, which both feature Bobby East.
The 25 year-old rapper’s follow-up videos of 2 Keys, Chinjomba and Hooza (ayelele), featuring Truth, received some revered reviews on most airwaves.
He has also released the songs Kabushi Kalilalila (featuring Karasa), Sweetest Taboo and Tiye Nayo (featuring Shyman Shaizo).
His new project is titled It’s Just a Mixtape and has since been released online via soundcloud.com as well as Kalimbaradio.com.
