ISRAELI experts have arrived in the country to help combat the cholera epidemic which has now claimed 54 lives in Lusaka.
And National Heroes Stadium will now serve as a cholera treatment centre to streamline efforts by health personnel.

Speaking at a joint media briefing by ministers at the Ministry of Health headquarters in Lusaka yesterday, special assistant to the President for press and public relations Amos Chanda said the five experts from Israel are in the country to offer medium and long-term solutions to the challenge of safe-drinking water in high-density areas.

He said the experts have come as a response by Sheba Medical Centre Zambia to render help to the cholera situation under the Presidential Initiative.
