Invest in coaches – ZaFCA

ALEX NJOVU, Lusaka
THE Zambia Football Coaches Association (ZaFCA) says there is need for Super Division clubs to invest in trainers if desired results are to be attained.
ZaFCA vice-president Lewis Shambulo said in Lusaka yesterday that it is a shame that clubs are failing to invest in the local coaches.
On Tuesday, Konkola Blades terminated the contract of coach Enos Silwimba following a string of uninspiring results.
“It is not only the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) that should train local coaches, individual clubs have the responsibility of sending coaches outside the country for further training. It is sad that the trend of firing coaches has continued, coaches must not be scapegoats,” Shambulo said.
