‘Intervene in University of Zambia fees’

THE Zambia National Students’ Union (ZANASU) has appealed to the Ministry of Higher Education to intervene in the increment of fees at the University of Zambia (UNZA) saying if left unchecked, many poor students would be denied access to education.

ZANASU chairperson Alfred Lukwesa said in a statement that the Ministry of Higher Education should sit down with the university management and come up with a fees structure that will be fair to both the institution and students.
