‘Healthcare provision vital’

THE Lions Club is committed to helping people access healthcare through the construction of hospitals and provision of vaccines, international director Ratnaswamy Murugan has said.
Speaking on arrival in Lusaka on Wednesday to grace the Zambia convention, Mr Murugan said the Lions Club collects contributions of up to US$40 million which is invested in various social projects worldwide.
He said Zambia is one of the beneficiaries especially in terms of eye care.
