WHEN the country held the national day of prayer, fasting, repentance and reconciliation, last Thursday, several other religions responded to the alter call.
In Lusaka, the Hindu congregated at their temple in Kamwala to join the rest of the country in supplicating prayers for the country.
I am delighted that despite being non-Christians, the Hindus responded to the call to join in facing the future as a reconciled, united and prosperous nation under God’s guidance.
I therefore wish to commend our Hindu brothers and sisters for praying with us.
Keep it up.
