Government to step up agro development – Lungu

GOVERNMENT will accelerate development of the agriculture sector, especially in North-Western Province, which is one of the economy’s priority regions.
President Edgar Lungu has also urged traditional leaders in the province to embrace local and foreign investors in the agriculture sector to enhance agricultural production.
Speaking when he launched the 2018-2019 national planting season yesterday, President Lungu said North-Western Province is one of the regions with huge potential for agricultural production.
President Lungu urged the local people to use the abundant natural resources and favourable rainfall pattern in the area to increase crop production.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
