Garbage in Lusaka irks Veep

STEVEN MVULA, Lusaka
VICE-PRESIDENT Inonge Wina is concerned that some residents of Lusaka dispose waste indiscriminately and that this increases the risk of outbreaks of diseases such as cholera especially with onset of the rain season.
She has directed that the Ministry of Local Government and the Lusaka City Council to collaborate with other relevant ministries to clean up the city before the rains start.
The visibly perturbed Mrs Wina said the onset of the rains bring out diseases if the city is dirty.READ MORE
