Funeral leads to sexual starvation

A FIFTY-THREE-YEAR-OLD-OLD man of George township narrated to the Matero local court how he was denied conjugal rights for over one year for failure to attend his father-in-law’s funeral.
When he testified before magistrate Gastone Kalala, Fedson Banda told the court that his wife, Hellen Ngoma, 45, denied him conjugal rights to punish him because he did not attend her father’s funeral.
This is in a case in which Banda was sued by Ngoma for divorce. The couple got married in 1987 and has six children together.
Banda told the court that due to his wife’s stance, he went to look for a girlfriend to sleep with because one year was a long time without having conjugal rights.
