Fuel prices go up

STEVEN MVULA, Lusaka
THE Energy Regulation Board (ERB) has announced an increase in the pump price of fuel with petrol now costing K13.70 per litre from K9.87 while diesel is now pegged at K11.40 from K8.59 per litre.
This means that the pump price of petrol has increased by K3.83, and K2.81 for diesel effective today.
Speaking at a press briefing yesterday, ERB vice chairperson Francis Yamba attributed the increase to the volatility of the Kwacha against the United States (US) dollar.READ MORE
