FODEP calls for traditional leaders’ neutrality

MIKE MUGALA, Lusaka
THE Foundation for Democratic Process (FODEP) has urged traditional leaders to desist from endorsing their preferred candidates for the August 11 elections openly because this could cause regional divisions.
National treasurer Rosemary Phiri said traditional leaders are promoters of peace and unity in the country and should therefore remain neutral.
She was speaking at the official opening of the citizen election monitoring training of trainers’ workshop in Lusaka yesterday.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm
