FISP delivery to be on time – Hamukale

SOUTHERN Province Minister Edify Hamukale says the province has so far received 93 percent of Compound D and 36 percent of urea fertilisers for the 2016/2017 farming season under the Farmer Input Support Programme (FISP).
Dr Hamukale has also disclosed that some districts have not yet received the seed for planting and urged farmers not to panic because Government is “on top of things” to address the matter.
He said during a press briefing here yesterday that distribution of both fertiliser and seeds will be completed on time and that farmers should not worry or panic.READ MORE
