First daughter admitted to the bar

PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu yesterday led senior members of the legal fraternity in Zambia and other parents and guardians to welcome the admission to the bar of several lawyers who included his daughter, Chiyesu.President Lungu assisted Chief Justice Irene Mambilima in handing out certificates to the advocates in the presence of Attorney General Likando Kalaluka, Supreme Court judge Nigel Mutuna and Court of Appeal judge president Fulgence Chisanga.
And Law Association of Zambia President Eddie Mwitwa said the country has 1,455 lawyers, which is a record high, compared to five years ago when the figure was at 800.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
