FAZ ordinary AGM set for March 25

THE Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) ordinary annual general meeting is billed for March 25.
FAZ deputy general secretary Lombe Mbalashi said in an interview yesterday that the meeting will be held at Government Complex in Lusaka.
The amending of the constitution will be top on the agenda.
World soccer governing body FIFA has directed FAZ to reduce the Electoral College from the current 350 to 80 by March 30, 2017.
Other items on the agenda will be for councillors to decide the fate of suspended FAZ vice-president Richard Kazala and executive committee member Blackwell Siwale.
FAZ president Andrew Kamanga suspended the two last November for gross misconduct.
Mbalashi said clubs wishing to submit items for discussion during the meeting should do so by March 3.
FAZ has also proposed an increase of teams in the Super Division from 18 to 20 starting this year.
Last year, councillors increased the number of Super Division teams from 16 to 18.
