WE SHOULD not be excited about how our children passed academic exams but what education makes them become. Otherwise, Chinese will continue constructing our roads because engineers who even did better than them (Chinese) in class perform.
The euphoria around passing exams should be stopped somehow. We need to be more excited about creative citizens that propel the country to greater heights and getting ashamed about external experts. The argument about the engineer and the economist about whose course is better and harder tells you that passing exams is all we look forward to.
After writing exams, most of us forgot what we studied the whole night. We need reforms in the administering of exams. Otherwise, congratulations to those who made it.
