DAPP empowers 30,000 farmers

THE Development Aid from People to People in Zambia (DAPP) has empowered over 30,000 farmers on how to increase resilience and improve income-generation activities in the last eight years.
The activities include the promotion of climate-smart agriculture, conducting training in financial literacy, encouraging savings, micro-finance, livestock rearing, and improving the marketing of produce.
DAPP deputy partnership director Anne Dorte Hoejrup said the institution has provided support to farmers under various agricultural projects that are being implemented.
