CUTS urges millers to buy maize from ZAMACE

THE Consumer Unity & Trust Society (CUTS) has called on millers to consider buying maize from the Zambia Commodity Exchange (ZAMACE), which is a more transparent platform.
Recently, millers have expressed concerns that in spite of the bumper harvest, Zambia is currently experiencing an artificial maize shortage created by the grain traders and have requested the Food Reserve Agency (FRA) to begin to offload maize to them to protect consumers.
