STEVEN MVULA, Lusaka
PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu has advised police officers against making friendships with criminals.
The head of State said policemen and women should keep away from criminals.
“I don’t expect policemen to be friends of criminals. It is about perception. If you discover that this person is a criminal, whether he has been apprehended before or not, keep away from them,” he said.
Mr Lungu was speaking at State House yesterday when he swore in former Southern Province Commissioner of Police Bonnie Kapeso as Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of operations.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
