Copper price edges up

THE price of copper on the international market has edged up to trade at US$6,734 per tonne lifted by positive sentiments concerning trade relations between China and the United States (US).
Copper is Zambia’s major source of foreign exchange. Its price is rebounding from a three-month low of US$6,532 a tonne hit on March 23.
Reuter’s report that copper price on the London Metal Exchange (LME) edged up 0.2 percentage point yesterday to US$6,734 a tonne, after falling one percent in the previous session.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
