THE Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has allowed relegated City of Lusaka to use Woodlands Stadium for the remaining Super Division matches and the Chilenje side hosted Power Dynamos at the facility yesterday in a round 34 match.
FAZ general secretary Ponga Liwewe said in a letter dated November 15 to City secretary: “This serves to advise that following discussions with Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) and MTN this morning [yesterday], it has been determined that Woodlands Stadium be made available for league matches until the next hearing of the CCPC on 6th December, 2017. This serves as official notification.”
FAZ in August this year banned City from using its home ground due to MTN’s league sponsorship deal that gives the mobile service provider exclusive rights.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
