China seeks economic recovery answers

CHINA, though one of the fastest-growing economies in the world, is still working round challenges that have recently slowed down economic growth, an economist says.
Zheng Xinye, an economics professor at Renmin University of China, said some of the interventions are meant to address heavy energy consumption which drains huge resources in the process of meeting demand for domestic and industrial production.
Other remedies include drastic changes in the allocation of resources, finding ways of going round unfair market competition, strengthening innovation policies as, well as attending to the ecological burden. CLICK TO READ MORE
