Children should help parents

WHETHER rich or poor, male or female, children should be able to do house chores.

TWELVE-YEAR-OLD Roma Makwakwa of Munwa Primary School in Zambezi district says children should be helpful to their parents.
Roma, a Grade Four pupil, said in an interview that parents, especially single mothers, struggle to pay school fees and to meet other basic needs for their children.

“I help my single mother with simple tasks such as feeding the fish since she is into fish farming. My ambition is to become a teacher,” Roma said.
His teacher, Edson Nanga, said Roma is hard working in school and participates in various school projects.
