Burglars break into Open Doors Church

THIEVES have broken into Open Doors Assemblies of God Church in Solwezi district and stolen music equipment worth about K54,700.
North-Western Province commissioner of police Auxensio Daka said in an interview yesterday the theft happened between 18:45 hours Friday last week and 08:00 hours Saturday.
Mr Daka said the thieves went away with three big speakers, two mixers, an amplifier, a keyboard and one bass bin mixer.
They also stole cables and microphones.
“Police visited the scene and found that entry and exit were gained by cutting the wire fence and later damaging the lock to the main door,” he said.
Mr Daka said no-one has been arrested so far but police are investigating the break-in.
