Barclays Cup spot cheers Chiyangi

GREEN Eagles coach Aggrey Chiyangi is happy his team will be able to play the Barclays Cup where they will face Green Buffaloes in the quarter-finals.
Eagles had lodged an appeal with the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) over their decision to pick Lusaka Dynamos over them to play the country’s only cup competition.
The Zambia National Service (ZNS)-sponsored side learnt that their appeal was successful on Saturday during their Super Division Week 31 match against Nchanga Rangers which they won 2-0 at Independence Stadium in Choma.
The announcement was made on the public address system towards the end of the match with the scores at 1-0 courtesy of a Tapson Kaseba goal.
The announcement seemed to have further energised the Choma-based side that was being cheered by a sizeable home crowd as they added a second goal moments later through substitute Shadreck Mulungwe
