Banda opens Belgium scoring account

ZAMBIA midfielder Emmanuel Banda scored on his debut for Belgian side KV Oostende in the 8-0 win over KVK Svelta Melsele

in a pre-season encounter.
Banda, who was influential in guiding the under-20 national team to the quarter-finals at the FIFA South Korea World Cup, joined the club last week.
Another under-20 star, Patson Daka, has continued with his prowess in front of goal at Austrian side Liefering who beat Germany side 1860 Munich 1-0 in a friendly. Daka’s effort was ruled as an own goal after it deflected off a Munich defender.
Former Chipolopolo striker Jacob Mulenga took his tally in the Chinese League One to nine.
Mulenga contributed the third goal in the 21st minute as Shijiazhuang Yongchang beat Lijiang Jiayunhao 4-3.The win takes Yongchang to sixth position with 25 points, eight behind leaders Dalian Yifang. Lubambo Musonda played 90 minutes as his Armenian side Gandzasar Kapan lost 1-0 in the Europa League qualifier against Macedonian side FK Mladost Podgorica. Striker Winston Kalengo contributed a goal for Congo-Brazzaville side AC Leopards who beat Otoho d’Oyo 2-0 in a cup match.
