Ballot papers arrive in Lusaka

ALVIN CHIINGA, Lusaka
BALLOT papers for the August 11 general elections and referendum have been delivered to Lusaka from Dubai amid tight security.An Etihad Cargo plane carrying the first consignment of 150 pallets of ballot papers touched down around 14:15 hours. The second consignment arrived at 18:25 hours.
Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) chairperson Esau Chulu led stakeholders who witnessed the arrival and the packing of the ballot papers into ECZ trucks before they were taken to the Commission‘s warehouse in Silverest in Chongwe.READ MORE
