Bakala says Warriors back on rails for glory

AFTER picking their third victory of the season on Saturday, Kabwe Warriors coach Ian Bakala says the team has regained its confidence to put up a good challenge for the league. Bakala said in an interview that the team, which started the league on a bad note, has put its house in order and is ready to compete for honours this season. Warriors, who finished fourth last season, on Saturday recorded their third win from eight matches, after they beat Prison Leopards 2-0 in a Week Eight fixture played at Godfrey Chitalu Stadium. The team’s record now stands at three wins, four losses and a draw. “We started on a low note but we are now getting there. This time we are fighting for something,” he said. Bakala has attributed the team’s comeback to good preparation and planning for each game. He said the commitment of the players to earn good results has also assisted them to start winning games. “The comeback is all about how we are preparing for each game.
