ACCESS Bank has injected US$20 million in its operation to boost business and position the institution for growth as it targets to open new branches this year.
Bank managing director Joana Bannerman said with the injection of capital late last year, the bank’s strategy is to go on an aggressive retail drive.
“We are hoping to open two new branches, two agencies and 10 offsite automated teller machines across the country this year,” Ms Bannerman said in response to a query.
Currently, the bank has six branches, four in Lusaka, one in Kitwe, one in Ndola and one agency in Masaiti district.
