ZANACO 0 NAPSA 2

SUPER League title contenders Zanaco yesterday shockingly lost to Napsa Stars in a Week 15 tie which left coach Mumamba Numba disappointed.
Third-placed Zanaco have 27 points, five behind leaders Power Dynamos.
Second-placed Red Arrows, who have two games in hand, have 31 points, while Napsa climbed to 11th position with 18.
Numba said they conceded two easy goals and failed to create scoring opportunities.
“We are disappointed because this is not what we expected.
We conceded two silly goals.
In the second half we tried to play in their half but we did not create many chances. We need to improve,” he said in a post-match interview.
Napsa coach Sipho Mumbi was pleased with the victory.
“This is a good result against a team that has been doing well.
It gives us confidence and shows we are consistent. But we are not going to celebrate too much. We must stay focused for the next match (against Konkola Blades) and keep winning,” Mumbi said.
Napsa took the lead on 29 minutes when Christopher Bwalya’s shot from a direct free kick caught goalkeeper Lameck Siame flat-footed.
Napsa continued to pile pressure and doubled the advantage in the 34th minute.
Kenneth Kasanga fed striker Augustine Mulenga and the former Zanaco star was equal to the task.
Napsa striker Evans Kayombo failed to beat Siame in a one-onone situation on 45 minutes.
On resumption, Numba introduced Eliya Mandanji for Lambert Araina, Brian Kabika replaced Thomas Banda and Steven Mbutali went in for John Chishimba but Napsa kept Zanaco at bay.
