PATRIOTIC Front (PF) Member of Parliament Davison Mung’andu has described President Hakainde Hichilema as a “genius” who has positively transformed the country’s economy, which he said was left in ruins by the previous regime.
Speaking at a public engagement in Choma yesterday, Mr Mung’andu admitted that PF deliberately left behind challenges, including a huge debt mountain and the external transfer of US$9 million, to make President Hichilema’s presidency difficult.
“We continued to pray for bad things to happen. We celebrated cholera so as to make your job difficult,” he said.
Mr Mung’andu noted that despite these challenges, the New Dawn administration has shown leadership and love for the country by increasing the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) annually, revitalising the mining sector and stabilising the economy and local currency.
He urged UPND members and citizens to remain patient, saying they will soon enjoy the fruits of stabilised economic fundamentals….https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
