Govt won’t stop prayers

GOVERNMENT says it will not interfere with the prayer meeting called at the Cathedral of the Child Jesus today to give solidarity to Archbishop Alick Banda but has cautioned the public against participating in the planned ‘illegal’ procession to the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC), where the cleric has been summoned for questioning.
Bishop Banda has been called to assist with investigations regarding a motor vehicle he allegedly obtained from the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) during the previous administration.
Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security Jack Mwiimbu has advised members of the public against being swayed by some opposition leaders to join the solidarity procession as the police have not been notified…https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
