Says necessary backing will help build a morally disciplined country

PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has called for support to women for a stronger nation with strong family bonds and moral fibre.
Mr Hichilema said women are an important part of society and giving them the necessary backing will help build a morally disciplined country.
“Let us partner to foster morals in our families. Family is a very important unit in our society if we are to raise or breed good citizens. This Government would like to continue working with this church and other churches to foster good morals in our society,” Mr Hichilema said.
The President was speaking yesterday at the Southern Zambia Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church Dorcas rally where about 37,000 women church members are gathered until Saturday, painting the venue – Rusangu in Monze – in blue and white.
