SECOND- PLACED Red Arrows yesterday reduced the gap with leaders Power Dynamos to one point after beating Nkana in a Super League Week 27 match and coach Chisi Mbewe described the victory as sweet.
“We knew it was not going to be an easy game playing Nkana.
We planned and I am happy the team applied itself. It is a sweet victory for us. We are taking each game as it comes. We have set a target and we are working towards those targets,” Mbewe said in a post-match interview.
Arrows have 51 points, one behind Power, who have three games in hand.
Arrows took the lead in the 10th minute through striker Joseph Phiri, who headed in Ackim Mumba’s cross at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.
