Apologises to ECZ over allegations of fake polling station

MATERO Member of Parliament Miles Sampa has apologised to the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) for claiming that it had established a fake polling station on Lilayi road during the Chawama parliamentary by-election last week.
Mr Sampa says he takes full responsibility for having been misled by ‘some informers’ to indicate publicly that the tent polling station was fake.
In a statement on Thursday, ECZ chief electoral officer Brown Kasaro demanded for an apology from Mr Sampa on the false allegation, failure to which legal proceedings were going to be instituted against him….https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
