THE opposition Patriotic Front (PF) party has with immediate effect been divorced from the Tonse Alliance.
And the opposition Patriots for Economic Progress (PEP) party has withdrawn from the Tonse Alliance.
Alliance Council of Leaders acting chairperson Danny Pule told journalists at a media briefing yesterday that the Tonse Alliance will instead only embrace and work with the “ECL PF Political Movement”, which comprises former ministers, permanent secretaries and other members.
Professor Pule said that during a virtual meeting on Tuesday evening, the Council of Leaders unanimously observed and agreed that the alliance had for a long time been held hostage, delayed in making progress, and made to appear institutionally disorganised as a result of PF’s leadership crisis, wrangles, court battles, factionalism, divisions, rivalry, and chaotic politics…https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
