KITWE Deputy Mayor Alex Mwango has urged parents and guardians to step up efforts in raising and guiding their children towards becoming responsible citizens.
Mr Mwango said parents and guardians should teach their children what is right from wrong, instill values and serve as role models.
He made the remarks yesterday when he handed over baby hampers to 11 children born on New Year’s Day at selected clinics in Kitwe.
Mr Mwango said raising responsible children is key to building a better tomorrow.
“I want to urge parents and guardians to raise and guide their children towards becoming responsible citizens, teach them right from wrong,” he said.
He added that instilling morals in children will help them refrain from vices.
The hampers were distributed to babies born at Kawama Urban Clinic, Chimwemwe Urban Clinic, Ndeke Urban Clinic, Mulenga Urban Health Centre and Luangwa….https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
