THE Technical Committee on Constitutional Amendments has received an overwhelming turnout since the start of sittings on Monday.
Yesterday the committee was in North-Western Province, where members of the public backed the proposal that promotes participation of women, youths and people with disabilities in governance.
Some endorsed the proposal for Members of Parliament to be part of full council meetings.
The committee’s vice chairperson, Landilani Banda, said they are happy with the response from members of the public.
