CASTLE Lite Zambia has sent two winners to Abu Dhabi, alongside hip-hop artist Cleo Ice Queen, designer Prime Slick, and model Kalembwe Mulemi to experience the Abu Dhabi NBA Basketball pre-season game in style.
Castle Lite said the two were winners of its ‘Road to Abu Dhabi’ campaign.
“Zambia’s own icons of music, fashion, and style are taking to the global stage – and they’re taking two lucky Zambians with them. The games will feature global basketball superstars, bringing the excitement of the NBA to Yas Island,” a statement read.
The pair, Mwasi, 24, from Lusaka and Joseph, 49, from Ndola, were chosen from thousands of entries nationwide.
Mwasi grew up playing basketball and supports the Munali Suns locally, while also being a proud fan of the Boston Celtics, one of the most celebrated teams in NBA history.
Cleo Ice Queen shares her excitement at being given such an opportunity.
“This is such an exciting opportunity, not only for the winners but also for me personally. Basketball, music, and fashion have always been part of my world, and to experience the NBA live in Abu Dhabi with my fellow Zambians is a dream come true. I can’t wait to represent Zambia on this global stage and share the experience with everyone back home,” she said.
Castle Lite Zambia Marketing Manager, Mwila Matoka as said the brand works to create experiences that bring people together in extraordinary ways.
“We are thrilled to see how the Road to Abu Dhabi campaign has inspired people to dream big.
At Castle Lite, we believe in bringing extraordinary, “extra cold” experiences to our fans – whether it’s sharing a beer with friends or traveling halfway across the world to watch an NBA game live. This opportunity reflects our commitment to creating moments that are bigger, moments that unite people through passion and possibility,” She said. The Abu Dhabi Games are one of seven international showcases on the NBA Basketball calendar.
