Rangers bench sent on leave

AFTER a run of eight games without a win, Nchanga Rangers have cracked the whip and placed the entire technical bench led by coach Robert Tembo on administrative leave.
Last month, Nkana sent coach Ian Bakala and his assistants Dennis Makinka and Josephat Nkhoma on administrative leave following a string of poor results.
Bakala was later replaced by Mwenya Chipepo, who has won three matches in a row – 3-1 victories apiece against Mufulira Wanderers and champions Red Arrows.
On Saturday, Nkana thumped winless Indeni 3-0 in Ndola.
According to a statement issued yesterday by Rangers media officer Andrew Ukwimi, the decision was made during an emergency executive committee meeting on Saturday evening in Chingola.
