RULING United Party for National Development (UPND) national youth chairman Gilbert Liswaniso says the party will not underrate any opponent in elections.
Speaking on Oxygen of Democracy programme on Prime Television on Monday night, Mr Liswaniso said it is not easy for any opposition political party to defeat UPND.
“It will take time for another political party to bring down UPND because they are dealing with people who have been in opposition for 23 years, people who have experience of losing and winning,” he said.
“We win elections using figures and not talking. We have no time for that [talking].
As UPND, we don’t underrate anybody and when we go into the game, it’s head-on, whether you are weak or strong. We take you seriously.”
Mr Liswaniso indicated that UPND will not relent on membership mobilisation.
“It’s up to our opponents to [also] campaign,” he said. “If you want to cry, do so. We have cried before as UPND. We have been beaten before.”..https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
