Dundumwezi gets K4.13m mini-solar grid

GOVERNMENT has commissioned a K4.13 million mini-solar grid power project which will benefit over 23,000 people in Dundumwenzi’s Nkandazovu in Kalomo district.
Minister of Energy Peter Kapala says the project is part of Government’s over K92 million solar mini-grid projects spread across the country totalling 17.
Mr Kapala said in a speech read for him by Southern Province Deputy Permanent Secretary Yolanta Malunga during commissioning of the project yesterday.
He said through Rural Electrification Authority (REA), Government started executing the 17 projects last year.
“These projects are meant to provide greater opportunities for socioeconomic development. It is also our long-term ambition to implement many more projects across the country,” Mr Kapala said..https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
